The West Highland White Terrier Club of America (WHWTCA) is the official American National Club for Westies. Westielovers.com is a gathering place for a number of Westie-related websites. It is a place for Westie lovers everywhere to come and look around, read, laugh, enjoy and hopefully learn about Westies. This is the home page of the Westie Foundation of America, Inc whose mission is to provide financial aid and other support for medical research in order to benefit the health and quality of life of West Highland White Terriers; and, to further develop and communicate information regarding the health, care, breeding and quality of life of Westies to Westie owners, Westie breeders and veterinarians. The primary purpose of this web site is to provide you with information about Westie health issues, health projects and other health resources and links. Ms. Joan Graber, an AKC (American Kennel Council) Judge with assignments on the West Highland White Terrier has detailed a series of photographs showing the desired profiles of the breed. Ms Graber provides considerable information about the History of the breed, Balance and movement, Head, Eyes, Ears, Neck, Legs Body, Tail, Rear with notes on Grooming. Really interesting read. The West Highland White Terrier Club of Greater Washington website illustrates a simple-to-follow chart for grooming and maintaining the coat of a pet Westie. The goal of this site is to represent the Canadian West Highland White Terrier Club and our beloved breed, the West Highland White Terrier. There is information about the Canadian Westie scene and good information about Westies - what they're like to live with, breed and health issues, activities that Westies participate in, and lots of information of use to Westie owners. "A breath of fresh air from country=region Scotland. I write a Saturday countryside diary 'Man with two dogs' for the Dundee Courier newspaper. It's not just about my own home locality of the East Coast of Scotland - wherever we are in Scotland. I'm likely to write about it. Each week I post the most recent article, so there is always something new to read. In due course I want to add more pages such as dog tales, recipes and 'guid Scots words and phrases'.
